[1]Mandela Barnes for Wisconsin
Now that the Supreme Court has officially announced its decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, let me be very clear:
It has never been more urgent for the Senate to abolish the filibuster and take action to protect abortion rights for millions of people across the country.
I will be the 51st vote needed to end the filibuster, but the only way I will get that chance is if we defeat Ron Johnson.
Today is a very crucial time to show you're ready to flip Wisconsin's Senate seat so we can pass legislation to codify Roe at the federal level.
That's why I'm asking:
Can you please make a contribution to my campaign for Senate in Wisconsin today? This is important.

After the draft opinion was leaked a few weeks ago, it became clear that the Supreme Court was planning to overturn Roe v. Wade. And now that this decision is final, it is a serious reminder of just how much is on the line in this election.
If we are going to protect every individual's right to an abortion – regardless of where they live or how wealthy they are – we need Congress to act to codify Roe v. Wade into law.
Since the Senate doesn't have the votes necessary to do that, it's time to eliminate the filibuster and pass it with 51 votes.
If I can become the 51st vote to abolish the filibuster, then Democrats will be able to pass legislation guaranteeing the right to abortion. But first, I need your help to win this race.
Can you please make a contribution to my campaign for Senate in Wisconsin today?

It is time to bring an end to Republican attacks on abortion rights, and it is time to make Roe v. Wade the law of the land.
In order to protect abortion rights at the federal level, Democrats must defend their majorities in the House and the Senate and we must abolish the filibuster. That's why your contribution is so important today. Thanks for chipping in if you can afford it.
