*Harriet Hageman statement on Supreme Court abortion ruling*

Harriet Hageman, Republican candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives in Wyoming, today issued the following statement regarding the U.S. Supreme Court ruling on abortion:

“This is a literal life-saving victory for millions of unborn babies, who would otherwise be snuffed out by abortion, which has already claimed the lives of tens of millions of others under Roe v. Wade. This ruling restores the proper role of the courts in these matters by correctly returning decisions regarding abortion law to the states. This is just a first step in the fight for life.  There is more work to be done on behalf of the unborn, and as Wyoming’s next congresswoman, I will always vote for the right to life for the innocent unborn.

“Liz Cheney, however, has lost the ability to be an advocate for anyone, including unborn babies, since she has shredded any chance that she can effectively represent Wyoming any longer. As soon as Democrats are finished using her on the January 6th Committee, they will discard her. And she trashed her relationships with Republicans a long time ago, which means she has no allies with whom to work on issues that are important to Wyomingites. When I am the next congresswoman from Wyoming, I will always be an effective advocate for our wonderful state and never forget who hired me for the job.”
