Bayer Monsanto is feeling the pressure, friend. In the past week, the agrochemical giant has been dealt two devastating blows by the justice system. First the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit found multiple major flaws with the EPA’s 2020 glyphosate assessment and ordered the agency to reassess glyphosate’s links to cancer and harm to endangered species. Then the Supreme Court upheld a $25 million dollar verdict that found Roundup use was a “substantial factor” in one man’s cancer, and Bayer Monsanto failed to warn the public of the risks. Court documents from these cases and thousands of other similar suits have revealed Bayer Monsanto executives have been aware of glyphosate’s links to cancer for years and have pressured agencies like the EPA to cover up the risks. Bayer Monsanto’s wrongdoing is finally coming to light, but the EPA still hasn’t taken action to protect Americans from cancer-linked glyphosate. We need to keep up the pressure. Do you have two minutes to complete our quick survey on glyphosate before midnight tonight? |
