The first step in the application process for the following solicitations is due next week in Grants.gov.
By the Grants.gov deadline noted in each solicitation, applicants must submit the required Application for Federal Assistance standard form (SF)-424 and a Disclosure of Lobbying Activities (SF-LLL) form when they register in Grants.gov. To register in Grants.gov, the applicant will need to ensure that its System for Award Management (SAM) registration is current. ?More information about submission steps is available on the OJP website.

Special Notice:?SAM.gov Entity Validation Update
GSA implemented a new process to validate an entity?s legal business name and physical address when requesting a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) and for completing a SAM.gov entity registration.?Due to a high volume of requests, entity validations are taking longer than expected to process. This validation process is now taking 7-10 business days, and in some cases longer. OJP strongly recommends?starting your SAM.gov registration process as soon as possible to allow the time necessary to process entity validations well in advance of the Grants.gov due date posted in the solicitation. OVC FY 2022 Field-Generated Solicitation: Increasing Options and Expanding Access for Victims of Crime
OVC seeks applications to develop or enhance promising practices, models, and programs that offer innovative solutions to build the capacity of service providers to increase the service options and/or expand access points for victims of crime in underrepresented communities.

OVC FY 2022 Preventing Trafficking of Girls
Under this solicitation, experienced organizations will work with OVC?s existing training and technical assistance provider to develop or enhance prevention and early intervention services based on best practices to focus on the needs of girls who are at risk or are victims of sex trafficking.

OVC FY 2022 Enhancing Access to Victim Services

OVC FY 2022 Developing Greater Understanding of the Needs of and Resources for Victims of Criminal Justice System-Related Harm
The purpose of this grant program is to better understand the service needs of persons harmed by a criminal justice system error or failure; develop best practices to identify these victims; determine whether services currently exist that can meet the needs of this victim population; and offer recommendations for appropriate service delivery, resources, partnerships, and tools.

OVC FY 2022 National Crime Victims' Rights Week Resource Guide (2023)
This cooperative agreement will support the development of a comprehensive guide for the crime victims? advocacy field to increase public awareness of crime victim issues nationwide during National Crime Victims? Rights Week in April 2023, and throughout the year, and begin preparations for 2024.
