Join us on Zoom for a webinar this Uncontacted Tribes WeekMany of the territories of Peru’s uncontacted tribes, which include the
Mashco-Piro, pictured, are still unprotected.

Dear Jack,

We’re delighted to invite you to a special event today – the chance to learn about the world’s uncontacted tribes, from Survival staff
deeply involved in the campaign for their rights.

Online talk and Q&A:

9.30am Los Angeles
12.30pm New York
5.30pm London

Most uncontacted tribes live in the Amazon – where their numbers range from
hundreds to just one survivor.

But they are actually found across the world – from the Chaco forest of Paraguay
(where almost all their forest has been bulldozed to destruction) to Indonesia,
and even on a tiny island in the Indian Ocean.

Today’s your chance to learn more, from some of the world’s foremost experts on
the subject. Survival campaigners Sarah Shenker, Teresa Mayo and Sophie Grig will be live
later today – they’ll talk about uncontacted tribes around the world, and what
needs to be done to ensure their survival, and they’ll be answering your
questions too.

P.S. In Peru, several uncontacted tribes’ territories are still unprotected,
even though the government has been promising to legally recognize them for
years. While they delay, oil and gas companies, and loggers, are already
destroying the precious resources these areas contain. The current high price of
oil means these territories are under greater pressure than ever before.

Please take action to stand with Peru’s uncontacted tribes.
