In the face of Republican attacks on voting rights and reproductive freedom at an all-time high, polls show Republicans have the edge vs. Democrats on voter enthusiasm.

This is especially alarming because our most fundamental rights are on the ballot in 36 states. To protect them we need to win.

Across the country, Republicans have already shown us the threat they’ll pose if elected. This year alone, over 546 abortion restrictions have been introduced across 42 states. And even with Roe still intact, GOP governors like Gov. Abbott in Texas have enacted near-total abortion bans.

But Democratic governors are working tirelessly to defend reproductive freedom.

In states like Nevada, Illinois, and New Mexico, Democratic governors have already signed legislation to protect abortion access. And in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Michigan, they’ve vetoed dangerous anti-abortion bills.

John, please believe me when I say that without Roe, Democratic governors are the last line of defense against the GOP’s relentless attacks on abortion access. But we urgently need your input to help us decide what our priorities should be heading into the summer.
