Thanksgiving is behind us and the winter holidays are right around the corner. But before we finish up the leftovers, I wanted to send a quick reminder about my favorite Thanksgiving tradition.

(Hint: it's not the pie, although that's a close second.)

I'm talking about Giving Tuesday, John! Giving Tuesday is the day people around the world join together to donate to the causes, charities, and movements they believe in to transform their communities and the world.

Look, as a member of Team DelBene, you know better than most that the fight for important human rights like affordable health care, access to reproductive care, clean air and water, and immigration reform are a 365-day, around-the-clock commitment.

That's why Giving Tuesday plays such a crucial role in our campaign's success -- making change takes some serious resources.

Giving Tuesday is our chance to get involved in Suzan's ongoing efforts to defend and fight for our values in our nation's capital. If you haven't yet, I encourage you to participate this year and give to Suzan's campaign this GivingTuesday, so she can continue fighting for our Washington values in 2020.
