DES revamps price sheet and eyes next contract
Contract 05918 [ [link removed] ] for food-service disposables has updated its pricing and ordering document to remove discontinued items and add new environmental specifications.
With 05918 due to expire in July 2023, Enterprise Services has completed its determination that work on a replacement contract will go forward. The project schedule for the new procurement can be found on the webpage for Solicitation 16722 [ [link removed] ]. ?

BAKERY GOODS
Vendor Franz gets price increase
Franz Family Bakeries has been granted an economic adjustment increase of 10.24 percent on prices for fresh bakery items offered on Contract 01520 [ [link removed] ], effective now.

IMPACT ATTENUATORS
Pricing adjusted for vendor Lindsay Transportation
Lindsay Transportation Solutions is approved for a 10 percent price increase on Contract 02417 [ [link removed] ] for impact attenuators.

DOORS, FRAMES and HARDWARE
Category 2 vendor vacates contract
American Direct Procurement Inc. has confirmed it will no longer provide services awarded on Contract 05416 [ [link removed] ] for doors, frames and hardware.
American Direct?s departure impacts users of the contract?s Category 2 for doors and frames. DES is reviewing options to fill the vacancy for users, and in the meantime there will be no contractor for the west side of Washington.
Contract customers may exercise their own purchasing authority or check with Contract Specialist Jaime Bacon <
[email protected]> to determine if their agencies are affected by the vendor vacancy.
INDUSTRIAL ABSORBENTS and ADSORBENTS
Discontinued products force vendor off contract
Enterprise Services has agreed to a mutual termination with Parts Authority LLC, previously owned by Cost Less Auto Parts, on Contract 04816 [ [link removed] ] for industrial absorbents and adsorbents.
Parts Authority informed DES that its two contract items have been discontinued and no reasonable substitutions are available.?Customers can continue to purchase products from Site Response Inc., MetroChem Inc. dba EnviroMet, and Greasweep LLC.
PREFAB and MODULAR BRIDGES
Price Increase for vendor Meltar Supply
Meltar Supply LLC is approved for a price increase, effective July 15, for the prefabricated and modular bridges on Contract 06819 [ [link removed] ].
