Hey Friend --
As you probably know, the Supreme Court will soon release its decision in a case called Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, often referred to as JWHO (pronounced jay-who). This is the biggest case on abortion rights since Roe v. Wade in 1973 and it will alter the abortion access landscape in the United States. It can be a bit scary to think about such a huge change, but URGE and If/When/How are here to help you navigate what exactly this means!
On Thursday, June 30 at 6:00pm EST, join me and Jeryl Hayes (she/her), If/When/How’s Movement Building Director, for a conversation about what the Supreme Court’s decision means for the legal status of abortion and how to navigate the criminalization of abortion care.

We’ll also hear from Nico Pang (they/them), URGE's Training & Curriculum Development Manager about self-managed abortion (SMA) trainings so that you can learn more about how to take care of yourself and your community as restrictions tighten access to abortion in states across the country. No matter what SCOTUS does, we're proudly #AbortionPositive and will continue our efforts to keep you informed. See you on the 30th! In Solidarity, |
