Moments ago, the Jan 6 investigators disclosed the names of Republican
members of Congress who sought pardons for their roles in Trump's
attempted coup.

PBS NEWS: "An aide to then-White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows told
the January 6 committee that Republican Representatives Matt Gaetz, Mo
Brooks, Andy Biggs, Louie Gohmert, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and Scott Perry
all asked the White House for pardons."

These members of Congress echoed Trump’s false claims and were directly
involved in the scheme to overturn the will of the people.

With every hearing, evidence pointing to the full scope and nature of this
attack on our democracy mounts. It is time for Merrick Garland to do his
job. Failure to hold ALL those who broke the law legally accountable will
allow future attacks to succeed and the threat to our democracy will only
grow.

democracy. The threat will continue and grow until those who broke the law
are held accountable.

We must hold those involved in this criminal conspiracy accountable --
even if they are former Presidents or members of Congress -- in order to
protect our right to vote and choose our own leaders.
