John,
This week I filed a lawsuit against Tesla for laying off thousands of workers around the country without providing advance notice required by law for mass layoffs.
Here’s the reality: Federal law requires companies to give workers 60-days notice before carrying out a mass layoff. Tesla is a trillion dollar company and its CEO, Elon Musk, is literally the richest person on the planet.
So it is not only illegal, it is outrageous that Tesla laid off these employees without advance notice and offering only one week of severance pay.
Will you chip into this campaign now so I can keep up the fight to protect workers from greedy, exploitative corporations all the way into the office of Attorney General?

John, Elon Musk called our lawsuit “trivial.”
For the richest man alive, two months' pay doesn’t make a difference, but for the workers who have made his company what it is, two months' pay is HUGE.
I’m no stranger to going up against CEOs and corporations — that’s why I’m known as “the Sledgehammer” and “the worker’s champion,” because when I get into these fights it’s to show that workers’ rights are far from “trivial.”
Every worker, from Texas to Massachusetts, deserves to have a fighter in their corner. That’s why I’m running for the office of Attorney General.
Can you make a contribution now so I can get into office and make sure protecting working people is a top priority in Massachusetts?
In solidarity,
Shannon Liss-Riordan
