PPAF does excellent work across the country, helping flip state legislatures, protect leaders who take powerful stands for choice, and serving as a xxxxxx against an escalating assault by the Republiican Party on reproductive health.

Ro’s advocacy didn’t start on Capitol Hill either — he spent seven years on the board of Planned Parenthood Mar Monte, helping support their efforts to provide low-cost reproductive health services to everyone who needed it.

Standing up for choice is more important now than ever. Republican state legislatures — emboldened by the actions of states like Louisiana and Georgia — have become increasingly brazen with their anti-choice and misogynist politics.

Take for example Pennsylvania: Republicans in their state legislatures are forcing through a new bill that would mandate burial services for all fertilized eggs. That’s not just medically implausible — most fertilized eggs don’t implant, and people would have no idea one way or the other. All it does is subject people to fines, and potentially even jail time for a partisan agenda.
