AIPAC’s goal is to shut down the principled, growing willingness of Democrats to criticize the occupation, oppose illegal settlements, and speak out for Palestinian rights and Israel’s democratic future -- and they're spending big money to do it.
Who’s funding this intervention in Democratic primaries?
FEC filings this week show the attacks are being supported by two right-wing, GOP-mega-donor billionaires -- Paul Singer and Bernie Marcus -- who contributed $1 million each. This kind of money makes a difference, the margins in recent primaries have been just a few hundred votes.
Friends -- We cannot allow right-wing forces to dominate the course of American leadership on Israel/Palestine, or indeed any of the issues we care about.
