In a stunning moment, AG Paxton casually said, “life is short” when mourning the loss of 19 children and two teachers in Uvalde, Texas. But Texas Democratic AG nominee Rochelle Garza is speaking out and calling AG Paxton out for his failures to protect Texans.

The bottom line is that AG Paxton has failed repeatedly to keep dangerous guns out of the hands of dangerous people, and Texas deserves better. At a time when Democratic AGs are fighting to keep us safe from gun violence, today’s Supreme Court decision is a step in the wrong direction for keeping our communities safe.
