Your support makes my colleagues’ vital work possible, and they’re thrilled to now empower our members with both evergreen best practices and information on current trends and tools.
When I first started my work at FPF, I attended my own Digital Security 101 training. As a relative beginner to being proactive about my own privacy and anonymity, I learned things like how to spot malicious emails, best practices for strong passphrases, helpful browser settings, and acronyms I’d never heard of like VPN, GPG, E2EE, and FOSS. I highly recommend this training for anyone, regardless of your level of familiarity with technology.
If you would like to attend this training and gain access to our entire calendar of events, we welcome you to join FPF’s membership program by setting up a monthly or annual gift here - https://freedom.press/donate/.
Check out our membership page to learn more. If you are a current donor and would like to activate your membership at no additional cost, please email me at [email protected] and I’ll send you the info for the Digital Security 101 training on June 30th!
In Solidarity,
Ryan Rice
