John – By now you’ve likely seen the latest ruling from SCOTUS striking down a New York state law that establishes strict requirements for concealed handgun carry.
New York has some of the strictest gun control laws in the United States, and, consequently, has the 2nd lowest rate of gun deaths in the country.
This new ruling from SCOTUS is a direct threat to public safety and an insult to everyone who has needlessly lost a loved one to this scourge of gun violence. Undermining the ability of states to regulate guns is going to get even more people killed.
Unfortunately, today’s decision is just the latest in a string of disastrous rulings from this radical court – and we know there are more, even worse decisions coming.
There’s only one solution: It’s time to expand the court.

Expanding the court is not a radical or new concept. It’s been done numerous times before, and it’s time to do it again.
