Friend, I’m not going to sugarcoat this.

We’re one week away from the end of our fiscal year, which means we’re about to lock in our organization’s budget for the next 12 months. 

And as of right now, we’ve fallen very behind on our fundraising goal.

I was really hoping we would be a little closer to our goal as we neared June 30. Because the truth is, we have so many exciting plans for the next few months, from passing major climate bills to electing a wave of climate champions in the November election.

Without the resources to fund this work, we’ll be forced to cut back — just as our climate work becomes more critical than ever.

We still have time, friend, but we’re counting on grassroots supporters like you to turn this around:

Right now, we have a legislative team hard at work up in Sacramento meeting with lawmakers and urging them to support our climate initiatives. 

At the same time, we’re preparing for the biggest, most consequential election California has had in years, with a real opportunity to elect a climate majority to the State Legislature.

We need your help to get California back on track and once again lead the global conversation on climate action. We need to pass bold climate legislation, hold our leaders accountable, and create a sustainable future for all of us.
