I'm asking you to send in a donation of $3 to power our campaign to keep CA-49 blue. We just got word that a second Republican super PAC has launched a surprise attack ad against us. Let me give you the rundown on what's going on:

This week, the American Action Network (AAN) -- another Kevin McCarthy-aligned super PAC -- launched a $400,000 ad campaign that is currently running on TVs across San Diego. Its sole aim is to mislead undecided voters and smear my record.

This ad buy is in addition to the $1.6 million already promised against me by the Congressional Leadership Fund -- McCarthy's flagship super PAC.

Here's the truth:

Republicans have no record to speak of when it comes to delivering for the 49th. So their plan is to spread falsehoods and distract from their real agenda: raise taxes on the middle class, reverse course on climate change, repeal Roe v. Wade, and (literally) bring an end to Medicare and Social Security.

But this race is going to be very competitive. It’s virtually neck and neck, and an unprecedented amount of cash flooding in could tip the balance. So with that, I have to ask:

This super PAC’s unexpected TV attacks means we've had to stretch our end-of-quarter goal to $65,000 in online contributions. Can you please chip in $3 before midnight to make sure we can defend the 49th?
