For weeks, we've been waiting for the Supreme Court to release their decision officially overturning Roe v. Wade. But, this morning, they released a different, very disappointing decision on gun control. The six conservative members ruled that a New York law requiring "proper cause" for carrying guns in public was unconstitutional.
Given the recent string of shootings across the United States, this decision is reprehensible. The second amendment is not absolute, and common sense gun safety measures should be legal.
