<p>This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Clean Water Act and APL is pleased to offer an amateur poetry contest to celebrate the conservation of our natural world in this art form. <p>Join interns from Allied Whale, the marine mammal laboratory at College of the Atlantic, to learn about the whales of the Gulf of Maine. </p>

<p><strong>APL Teen Space Renovation Reveal Party & ESports Workshop: July 12 at 12:30 PM</strong></p>
<p>Visit the newly renovated Teen Space at APL! Light refreshments provided. Immediately following, join our friends from Central Maine Community College as they teach kids 12-18 about the exciting world of Esports. Following the workshop there will be an esports mini tournament! </p>

<p><strong>Where Does Your Water Come From? July 20 at 3:00 PM</strong></p>
<p>Join the Lake Auburn Watershed Protection Commission to learn where your water comes from. This presentation will follow a drop of water through the Lake Auburn Watershed, and into the community. This event for all ages will cover the different pollutants a drop of water might find, different environments it might cross, and the treatment process so it can become drinkable. </p>
