John, I’m standing by Tony Vargas as he leads the charge to do what so many pundits have declared impossible -- keep the House in Democratic hands.
But first, I want you to know about Tony’s history and why he’s the leader we need in Congress:
After his parents immigrated from Peru, he was the first in his family to graduate from college.
He then became a public school teacher and was elected to the Omaha Public Schools Board.
Now, he’s serving in the Nebraska legislature as the body’s first Latino Democrat.
So trust me: Don Bacon should be absolutely terrified.
