Why we need Attorney General Josh Kaul
Attorney General Kaul is our conservation champion in the courts

You may not know it, but the attorney general is a really important elected office and critical for our work.
Cleaner energy, cleaner water, and protecting the freedom to vote rely on an attorney general who will fight for them in the courts. Wisconsin’s gerrymandered GOP majority will fight progress on every one of our issues – often miring popular bills and climate action in tedious litigation.
We need a proven champion in the courts to fight for conservation and democracy issues – and that’s Attorney General Josh Kaul.
Attorney General Kaul has joined lawsuits aimed at protecting the environment and holding corporate polluters accountable, including national efforts to address climate change, fighting against the sham election review, and calling for better protections against lead in drinking water.
In March, he filed a lawsuit against corporate polluters Tyco and Johnson Controls over their failure to address and clean up PFAS in Marinette. AG Kaul's leadership on clean water, clean energy, and the freedom to vote have been essential in protecting Wisconsin's future.
