John: After two weeks of hearings, the Jan. 6 committee has laid out a case clearly showing Trump's efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 election and destroy the peaceful transition of power.
The evidence speaks for itself: Trump knew that the election wasn't stolen, he was told repeatedly that his scheme to overturn the election was illegal, and he holds DIRECT responsibility for the violent, deadly insurrection. The walls are finally closing in on Trump and his corrupt conspirators.
But especially now that Trump is eyeing a 2024 presidential run, our democracy won't be truly safe until he faces justice.
That's why it's critical that grassroots activists like you stand up and demand that Trump is held responsible for his attacks against our democracy.
