Dear friends,
We began as a volunteer-run effort to support a growing immigrant population, working out of a small storefront in the south end of Dearborn. Today, more than 50 years later, ACCESS is the nation’s leading Arab American non-profit. I’d like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping us reach a significant milestone: our 50th year of building community!

A lot has changed over the past 50 years, but what hasn’t changed is our dedication to serving the community. We’ve grown tremendously in the region, with millions served and counting. We’ve added services, expanded our reach, and stretched what we imagine is possible. Today, ACCESS operates over 120 human service programs out of 10 different locations in Southeast Michigan, and remains committed to touching the lives of over 70,000 people with over a million services annually.

Your support of ACCESS over the past 50 years has helped us continue honoring our Arab American heritage and grow into a highly impactful organization that houses three esteemed national institutions: the Arab American National Museum, the Center for Arab American Philanthropy, and the National Network for Arab American Communities. I could never picture this inspiring journey without our talented and committed staff and board, compassionate donors and community, dedicated partners and the motivational people we serve every single day.

While we have come a long way, our journey is not over yet. I’m immensely grateful to have you by our side, and I know that with your ongoing support, we will continue providing meaningful services for years to come.

Thank you, my ACCESS family, for being part of this milestone anniversary. And most important, thank you for making hope a tradition here at ACCESS. We look forward to honoring these 50 years with you throughout 2022!
