John–

I've been a part of the movement to end gun violence for well over a
decade, and I have never seen the energy I've seen these last few
weeks—but we can't stop now.

While the U.S. Senate is about to vote on historic legislation that would
help save lives, the Supreme Court has just struck down New York's
concealed carry law. The Court's decision is wrongheaded, but it does not
touch the policy areas in the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act.

Let me be clear: This ruling won't stop us.

We're incredibly close to having a major federal gun safety law for the
first time in over 25 years, and we're pushing harder than ever to get it
over the finish line.

We need your help to secure this federal victory, once and for all:

message again.

Our movement is ready for this moment—even with today's ruling from the
Supreme Court. Our nearly 10 million gun safety supporters have seen
setbacks before, and we don't get discouraged. We get to work. We vote.
And we have a plan. No decision—and especially not this one—will stop our
grassroots army from doing what we've done for a decade: fighting to keep
our families safe.

We've fought to get here.

We've made sure our senators can't look away from this crisis.

Now, let's make it count.

The Senate is considering the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act right now
and will vote very soon.

This historic bill meets the most important test: It will save lives.

And right now, we are closer than ever to breaking the 26-year logjam that
has blocked congressional action to protect people in the United States
from gun violence.

It's time for our U.S. senators to answer the call of history, and honor
the victims and survivors of gun violence with bold action.

Make sure they hear from you before they vote: [ [link removed] ]Send a message to your
U.S. senators telling them to vote YES on the Bipartisan Safer Communities
Act.

Thank you for being a part of this movement.
