John, we've had more than 250 mass shootings in 2022 so far – one of which took the lives of three Pennsylvanians and injured nearly a dozen others in Philadelphia earlier this month. Let that sink in for a moment.

As a veteran, former teacher, and a mom, I am outraged, frustrated, and heartbroken by the scourge of gun violence.
I’m honored to be in a position to make a difference, yet gutted that we have failed for so long. As a legislator and leader, I am more committed than ever to safeguarding our schools, communities, and country.

We're living through a national gun violence crisis, and it's time to take bold action.
That's why I'm proudly leading a bipartisan effort to pass several gun safety laws that will curb gun violence, protect our communities, and save lives. I even helped to urge our party to pass distinct bills for distinct measures to keep our communities safe, increasing bipartisan support and holding Republicans accountable to each measure.
Supporting the Second Amendment and enacting practical changes to protect our communities are not mutually exclusive. Now more than ever, we must adopt these bipartisan, commonsense solutions so families are no longer wounded by our inaction. That's why I'd like to hear from you today, John. Please, before our live poll closes at midnight, tell me:

Do you support commonsense gun legislation?
