John – did you see Politico ’s report that “GOP operatives [are] assembling a disturbing multipronged network of party loyalists that could cause chaos on Election Day?”
We did – and we’re alarmed. According to leaked tapes, the Trump-and Bannon-endorsed strategy includes training GOP poll workers to contest votes in Democratic areas, supporting MAGA-friendly district attorneys in blocking certain vote counts, and installing partisan election officials who can refuse to certify elections. It’s the Big Lie on steroids!
But we’re not panicking. Instead, we’re doubling down on our fight for fair, clean elections, including by investing in supporting candidates who will UPHOLD democracy. Can you help with a donation?

Look, John, we’re not going to minimize the severity of this threat. According to one election watchdog, “ This is completely unprecedented in the history of American elections … It looks like now the Trump forces are going directly after the legal system itself, and that should concern everyone.”
But we’re taking inspiration from the recent words of Michelle Obama: “I want to implore every American who cares about our democracy not to just get angry or dejected. I want you to get active .” We’re getting active! We’re working hard to support Democratic candidates in 17 key states who can protect the sanctity of our elections – no matter what the GOP tries. And that’s just one part of our strategy to help save democracy!
