The 2019 Ward 6 Brickie Awards are this week! This is Ward 6's annual get-together, free and open to all Ward 6 resident - and it's all happening Thursday from 6-8 pm. We have food and drink donated by Ward 6 businesses and organizations. We will be holding the party in the beautiful, new home for DC Water, right on the waterfront in Capitol Riverfront. And we'll take time to give out five different Brickie Awards to recognize some of our neighbors, Ward 6 businesses, public servants, and community organizations who were nominated by their neighbors. For our neighbors who are deaf or hard of hearing, we will have ASL interpreters!?
So, if you can make it, please RSVP as we'll need to provide a guest list to DC Water's security desk for entry.?

A quick note on getting to DC Water's headquarters (if you're using GPS for directions, plug in 125 O St., SE):?
Public Transportation:
- Navy Yard-Ballpark Metro (Green Line) - exit the New Jersey and M Street exit. Follow New Jersey across M Street, cross N Street SE, and follow the footpath/sidewalk south toward the waterfront. You'll see the DC Water building straight ahead - pictured here - to the right.?
- The DC Circulator's Eastern Market-L'Enfant Plaza line <[link removed]> runs along M Street - get off at the M Street, SE and New Jersey Ave stop, follow the directions above.
Parking:
There are several paid parking lots and on-street hourly parking in the neighborhood. DC Water does not have a parking lot available to members of the public, so please plan accordingly!
