Hey John, I know that the #GivingTuesday deluge in your inbox has begun! (I got my first email just after July 4th.) But I’m not gonna lie, I love this time of the year. I bake goodies from my mom's cherished laminated recipe cards and get my tree up by mid-November! I am THAT person. You may laugh or give me heavy side-eye, but the rush of happiness that I get from making special family recipes or unwrapping ornaments for my tree—and reliving the memories that they represent—fills me with the joy I need to keep fighting this fight! But it is the generosity of friends and supporters like you, who recognize the impact of Abortion Access Front's mission and continue to support us, that keeps me going every day. I am incredibly lucky to have a staff who work their asses off every day, bringing support to clinics and patients all over the country. The fact that you stand by us as we do this is absolutely the gift that keeps on giving. You know your tax-deductible donations allow us to keep doing this work, and so today I ask again for your support.
But I also want to give something to YOU. First, I wanted to share a special #GivingTuesday message from our very first supporter, Sarah Silverman. From day one, Sarah has given time and resources to make sure our work not only continues, but flourishes. She is very persuasive and she #GivesAF.  Second, I wanted to share one of those recipes from my mom, written in her hand:  Each year, I bake these for my nearest and dearest and this year, AAF will include them in care packages we are sending out for our adopt-a-clinic program.
