Friend,
Last night, far-right Senator Mike Lee sided with the NRA by voting against advancing a bipartisan gun safety bill that 14 of his GOP colleagues supported.
This was an opportunity to advance common-sense legislation that respects our constitutional rights and protects our children — and Mike Lee voted against it.
REMINDER: The NRA has contributed tens of thousands of dollars to Mike Lee’s campaign to buy his vote against bipartisan background checks and other common-sense reforms that would keep our families safe.
Utah deserves better than a politician who favors the gun lobby and other special interest groups over the safety of his constituents and their constitutional rights. We need a leader who values bipartisanship — and life — over extremism.
That’s why I’m running to represent Utah in the U.S. Senate, and why I’m humbly asking for your help replacing far-right Senator Mike Lee.
So please, if you’re able, would you chip in to support our campaign and help Utah bring more principled, independent leadership to Washington?
Sincerely,
Evan McMullin
