March On Pride Month 2022: Celebrating LGBTQ+ Women

Dear Friend,

Today, we’re spotlighting Sharice Davids, the first LGBTQ+ Indigenous woman to serve in Congress!

Davids won her election to Congress in 2018, defeating an incumbent Republican in a landslide victory.

Now, Davids is a strong advocate for the LGBTQ+ community in Congress – she just introduced the Pride in Mental Health Act to improve mental health support and foster care services for LGBTQ+ youth.

As a co-chair of the LGBTQ+ Equality Caucus – and one of just nine LGBTQ+ Representatives in Congress – Congresswoman Davids has led with strength and poise in the fight for equality. We’re grateful for all her hard work on behalf of underrepresented communities!

Now, we’re asking you to take action for LGBTQ+ rights.

Quick Action: Click here to email your Senators and demand they pass the Equality Act >>

The ultra-conservative Supreme Court plans to overturn Roe v. Wade in mere days – endangering not just the right to abortion, but also critical LGBTQ+ protections.

That’s why we MUST pass the Equality Act – it would rectify state-level attacks on LGBTQ+ rights and equality, while also protecting our communities from future acts of discrimination.

So please take action now: Email your Senator and demand that they pass the Equality Act >>

Thank you for taking action with us.
