Friend: I have bad news. Right now, Marco Rubio and GOP super PACs are preparing to spend MILLIONS on attack ads that smear my name and record – and I’m falling short of my goal to raise $50,000 for my TV Ad Fund.

If I miss this goal, I won’t be able to stay on the air and defend myself from Rubio’s lies, but here’s a status update as of 5 p.m.: 

In the race that will determine Senate control, polling shows that I am neck and neck with Marco Rubio. And, with Florida’s last Senate race being decided by just 10,033 votes (0.12% of the vote), every single Floridian that I can reach WILL make an impact. 

But running ads in Florida is exceptionally expensive. Experts have even said that going on air this early in the year could leave us out of funding by Election Day – but truthfully, we had no other option. 

With the GOP actively trying to destroy my reputation and momentum with baseless attack ads, I had no choice but to launch my ads early to fight back. I refuse to let this race be decided by lies, but I need YOUR help to amplify my message. With the Senate Republican campaign arm sitting on a war chest of over $150 MILLION, which they can pour into Florida any minute, my TV Ad Fund goal is absolutely critical.
