Friend, the Supreme Court's anticipated decision to overturn nearly 50 years of legal precedent on reproductive freedom is heartbreaking. The fact that it's going to be allowed to happen because Mitch McConnell's scheming created a conservative supermajority on the Court is infuriating.
But too much is on the line for us to give up now. Instead, we must channel our heartbreak and fury into immediate action and pass a federal law protecting abortion access.

This is URGENT, friend: POLITICO is reporting the Supreme Court will strike down Roe v. Wade, according to an initial draft majority opinion.
I'm deeply angered by this news, but I am also fired up to fight as hard as I can to protect women's right to make our own health care decisions. I hope you'll join me.
With the Supreme Court set to overturn Roe v. Wade and 24 states ready to immediately ban or restrict access to abortions, Congress is our last line of defense for reproductive freedom. We need to pass legislation that will protect abortion access under federal law, and we need to do it NOW.
