My name is Greg Casar, and I'm one of the newest progressive Texans headed
to Congress in January.

Texas isn't known for its progressive policies right now. But you should
know that a movement is growing here, a movement of working families
fighting for progressive values. That's just what I saw in my race earlier
this year, when our campaign won on a bold, progressive vision.

Congressman Jamaal Bowman was one of the first to support that bold
vision. As a former school principal and local organizer, he inspires and
supports new leaders - and that's why I'm proud to support him today.

In Texas, we're seeing state officials ignore common sense gun reform
while children are scared to go to school. That's why I'm proud to have
Congressman Bowman fighting for gun reform that will save lives.

There are just 62 days until Jamaal's primary, and his opponents are ready
to do everything in their power to make him a one-term member of Congress.
As a labor organizer and Austin, Texas' youngest-ever city council member,
I know about these kinds of tough fights. I know that if we center
communities that have been left behind for too long with a bold and
progressive platform, we can win.
