Yesterday, 14 Republican senators, plus all of the U.S. Senate
Democrats, voted to advance their anti-gun deal with a vote to
proceed on the bill.

As we predicted, the bill's most notorious provision is bribing
states to implement "Red Flag" legislation, which would allow
left-wing lunatics to accuse patriots like you of being
"dangerous" and have your firearms seized without any due process
of law. . .

The backers of this gun grab claim the bill requires due process,
but that's not true.

Make no mistake: It's not just a war on the Second Amendment.
It's a war on you.

The fourteen Republican senators who supported this are:

Also of note, anti-gun Pat Toomey (PA) didn't bother to vote at
all, which is effectively the same as voting yes.

Now is the time to make your voices heard.

Even if you called before, call your U.S. Senators right now at
(202) 224-3121 and tell them to vote NO on any gun control deal.

Here's a simple script for your call:

Hi, this is (your name) calling from (your city). I'm calling to
demand you defend the Second Amendment against the gun-grabbers
by opposing ALL gun control legislation and refuse to deal away
our Second Amendment rights.

Mass shootings happen because our communities are crumbling,
people are becoming anti-social, and too many people can't defend
themselves - all because of policies coming from Washington.

The Senate is preparing to ram through a deal, skipping proper
procedure, and without giving the public proper time to know what
is even in the bill. That is proof that the Senate is acting in
bad faith.

Defend the Bill of Rights, the right to self-defense, and the
public's right to know what is going on in Washington. I assure
you I will never vote for a lawmaker who participates in this
grossly immoral attack on our rights.

No Compromise on the Bill of Rights

The "deal" that has been proposed to harm the rights of
law-abiding gun owners would support and incentivize a radical
assault on our rights, not only to keep and bear arms for lawful
self-defense, but our rights to due process of law, to privacy in
our homes, and to freedom of speech.

This "deal" is a constitutional travesty, and I will be watching
for the senator's "NO" vote on this deal and any such deal that
infringes on the rights of law-abiding gun owners.

Make no mistake: no senator who votes for this deal will ever
again be able to posture as any sort of gun rights supporter or
defender of the Constitution. This is one of the biggest
betrayals we have ever seen.
