It’s Coby, Josh’s Campaign Manager.

I’ll make this quick, but here are two things you need to know:

1. We wish this weren't true, but many House races are won by the campaign that spends the most money, and Kevin McCarthy’s Super PAC has already reserved $800,000 worth of TV ads in support of Josh’s Republican opponent.
2. Josh is not accepting a dime from corporate PACs, so we rely on grassroots fundraising emails like these to support our movement.

And one more thing: in one week, we'll close the books on our fundraising quarter, and all of our fundraising numbers will be released publicly by the FEC. But right now, we are slightly behind where we need to be to meet our goal. John, if we want to win in November and keep the House blue, we MUST close out the quarter strong.
