John, the American Dream isn't just about surviving. It's about prospering.
You can't do that if you're worrying about how to afford child care, keep the lights on, pay for gas to get to work, put food on the table for your family, and keep going amidst it all.
Far too many Missourians are struggling to make their hard-earned paychecks stretch to cover all the costs of daily life. Something has to change.
But honestly, it seems like politicians in Washington care more about making their ultra-wealthy donors happy than making life better for families.
I'm running for Senate to take the price tag off of the American Dream. That's why today, I released my full plan to give working families and their kids the wages, financial security, and opportunities they deserve.

I know this is no easy task. But there are meaningful, impactful steps that we can take – like these:
* Lowering the cost of basic necessities like gas, groceries, housing, and prescription medication
* Making sure that the wealthiest Americans are paying their fair share
* Supporting families struggling with the high costs of child care and elder care
* Raising the federal minimum wage and passing legislation to protect our unions
I'm really excited about this plan. Can you take a moment to read through it right now?

Together, we can win a future where everyone has a fair shot at achieving their own American Dream.
Thank you for your time,
