I?m writing with a friendly reminder to join me, Rep. Huot, and Senator Clausen for a District 57 town hall meeting *this evening* at 6:30 p.m. at Falcon Ridge Middle School. The event is nonpartisan, and everyone is welcome.

We?ll do a brief overview of how the 2022 session ended and what?s left to finish. I would also like your input on state stimulus checks of $1,000 for individual filers and $2,0000 for joint filers [ [link removed] ] to help with rising costs this summer. Governor Walz and House Speaker Hortman announced their support for a speedy special session today to deliver these payments to Minnesotans.

Even if you can?t make it to the town hall, I hope you?ll continue to reach out with your thoughts and questions.
