Hey there —

Recently, the average price of a gallon of gas reached $5 [[link removed]] nationwide for the first time ever and stayed that way for seven days [[link removed]] — all while Big Oil is making record profits. According to the Center for American Progress [[link removed]], Shell, ExxonMobil, BP, Chevron, and ConocoPhillips brought in more than $35 billion in profits in the first quarter of 2022 alone. And it’s not just gas: corporations are jacking up prices on groceries, rent, prescription drugs, and more.

On Friday, June 10, activists across the country joined together for a National Corporate Greed Day of Action to make it clear: it’s time for corporations to stop price gouging us.

We need your help to keep building on this momentum. Send an email to your members of Congress today to tell them to pass laws that stop corporate price gouging. [[link removed]]

WRITE IN NOW [[link removed]]

When Democrats in the House of Representatives passed a bill to stop Big Oil’s price gouging, every single Republican voted against it. We need action from both the House and the Senate to stop corporations from using inflation as an excuse to jack up the prices of our day-to-day necessities.

We can’t afford inaction any longer. Write in now to tell your members to support everyday Americans and pass laws that stop corporate price gouging. [[link removed]]
