the big news?

Today, Governor Holcomb announced a special
legislative session to convene on July 6, 2022, to act on his plan to
return $1 billion to Indiana taxpayers — that’s on top of the $545
million already being sent back to Hoosiers through our Automatic
Taxpayer Refund law!

Unfortunately, Hoosiers are dealing with an
unprecedented level of inflation because of policies shoved through by
Democrats in Washington, D.C., and blindly signed by Joe Biden (who has
taken actions on his own to make the situation even worse).

Governor
Holcomb's proposed plan will help combat the effects of this by getting
money directly into your pockets, providing flexible and meaningful
relief in a quick, fair, and efficient manner.

projections, Hoosier taxpayers deserve to have their money responsibly

Republicans have always been
responsible stewards of your tax dollars. And now, because of
hardworking Hoosiers and Republican fiscal management, we are in a
position to return $1 billion and provide much-needed, flexible relief
to Hoosiers.

If the plan is enacted, each eligible Hoosier would
receive $225 in addition to the $125 being returned through the
Automatic Taxpayer Refund law. All told, each eligible Hoosier would
receive about $350; a married couple filing jointly would receive about
$700.
