Last November, Democrats faced our first major electoral tests of the post-Trump era.
We had the chance to defeat a Trump Republican in Virginia and elect a Democratic governor to help hold the line on reproductive rights, voting rights, and more. We had the chance to prove that Democrats can win even when Donald Trump isn’t on the ballot.
We were confident, but we failed.
We can’t fail again this year, John. We absolutely cannot afford to sit back and relax — not for a second.
