For a small donation, whatever you can affordDear Jack,
We’re thrilled to offer you a unique film screening as part of our Uncontacted
Tribes Week.
Piripkura is an award-winning exploration of the extraordinary story of Baita
and Tamandua, the only two known uncontacted survivors of the Piripkura people.

Almost all their relatives have been killed in a series of massacres, Baita’s
sister survived and has contact with outsiders – she recently appealed through
Survival for the territory where Baita and Tamandua live to be protected.
Their land is currently shielded only by a temporary Land Protection Order. This
is one of the most critical cases in the world.
Piripkura is not available to the general public, but (with the generous
permission of the film’s producers) we’re delighted to offer you the chance –
for the next week only – to watch this remarkable movie. We’re asking for a
donation to our urgent work for tribal peoples – whatever you can afford – and
in return we’ll send you a link to watch the movie. We know times are hard, so
if you can’t afford a donation, but would like to watch the movie anyway, please
just reply to this email and we’ll send you the link, for free.
Pay what you can

The odds are massively stacked against the Piripkura. Already decimated by
violent attacks, they face an array of heavily-armed and powerful ranchers,
land-grabbers and local politicians, all eyeing up their last refuge.
It’s down to those of us who care, to even up the odds. Please watch the film,
then join our campaign for the most vulnerable peoples on Earth.
With thanks,
Sarah Shenker
