The Chicago Machine has been in power for a long time. Especially on the West Side and South Side. So long that sometimes it seems like they think the rules don’t even apply to them. That’s why, when I found out that Danny Davis has received 5 letters from the FEC accusing him of incomplete finance filings during this election, I wasn’t surprised. In fact, he just filed his final FEC filing almost a week late.

When people hold power for too long, it’s only a matter of time before they prioritize their own interests over those of the people. Danny Davis has been in Congress for 25 years. It’s time for a change.
