Take our one-question poll >>

john,

Our country is facing a gun violence epidemic. So far this year, more than 9,000 lives have been lost due to gun violence. And in 2020, guns overtook motor vehicle accidents to become the number one cause of death in children.

Enough is enough. It's long past time we took meaningful action to combat the gun violence epidemic facing our country.

In the House, Kim is working to pass common sense gun safety legislation to keep our communities safe. Earlier this month, she helped pass the Protecting our Kids Act. This legislation will help prevent gun violence by raising the purchasing age for semi-automatic rifles, strengthening safe storage requirements, outlawing high-capacity magazines, and more.

She also helped pass legislation that allows family members and law enforcement officers to temporarily remove access to firearms for an individual who is deemed a danger to themselves or others, and she introduced bipartisan legislation that would provide tax incentives to gun sellers to also sell a gun lock or safe with all gun sales.

Kim knows that gun safety shouldn't be a partisan issue. She's working hard in Congress to ensure our families are safe from gun violence, but with the Senate now considering the most significant gun safety legislation in decades, she wants to know what you think:

Do you support common sense gun safety legislation? Take our one-question poll now >>

Thanks,

Team Schrier
