June is Pride month – a time to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community, reflect on the past, and move towards progress and equity. Mary Gay attended Upper Darby’s Pride this month!

Mary Gay at Upper Darby Pride!

Pride is a season of celebration, but it must be matched by a season of hard work. Mary Gay knows this as much as anyone — that’s why she helped introduce the Do No Harm Act to protect members of the LGBTQ+ community from the harms of religious-based discrimination. Whether you’re an ally or a member of the community yourself, sign on instantly to show support for the Do No Harm Act >>>

The Do No Harm Act seeks to clarify the Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA), passed over two decades ago to protect religious freedoms. Over the years we have seen the RFRA used as a tool of discrimination against the LGBTQ+ community. The moment to amend this harmful legislation is now sign on and support the Do No Harm Act immediately.

Mary Gay is a longtime ally of the LGBTQ+ community, and when she was elected in 2018 she made it her responsibility to serve all of her constituents with equal respect. As a leader and sponsor of the Do No Harm Act, Mary Gay seeks to fulfill that promise.

Thanks for signing on, have a safe and celebratory Pride!.
