I didn’t think I’d have to write this message, but we’re not where we need to be here in Georgia.

I’m the Finance Director for the Democratic Party of Georgia, and right now, I’m making the budget for our next quarter, and we have a problem: unless we get a surge of donations right now, I’m going to have to look at making tough budget cuts.

With Brian Kemp and the Georgia GOP hitting their goals and building a massive field army, we can’t afford to make cuts like these, but we’re falling behind on our goal for the quarter!

The stakes are just too high. If we don’t hit our goal for the quarter, I’m going to have to look at what parts of the program we might be able to scale down. And without a fully funded organizing program, Rev. Raphael Warnock, Stacey Abrams, and Democrats up and down the ballot are much more likely to lose in November.
