I’m so proud of what we’ve done to make this the climate election.

But we know that the climate emergency is far from the only emergency we face. Nature is in crisis too. Yet none of the other parties have a good enough plan to protect our natural world.

Will you help me to get #VoteNature trending before December 12th?



Here in the UK, 40 percent of species have declined in the last fifty years, and 15 percent are at risk of extinction.

That’s why I asked a group of leading conservationists to write a report setting out bold, ambitious ideas to restore and reinvigorate our natural world.

The report is called A New Deal for Nature and I’ll be launching it on Thursday. I’ll also be talking about the brilliant policies on wildlife and the natural environment that are already contained in the Green Party’s manifesto, and our plans to put nature at the very top of the agenda in the next parliament.

I’d love your help to get nature at the heart of this election campaign where it belongs.Can you:
Reply to this with photos and videos of a part of the natural world you love, and tell us what it means to you. Please say “I give you permission to share this content on Greeb Party social media channels”.
Post on the hashtag #VoteNature with pictures of nature, and calling on others to protect our natural world, and share their own images.

It has been great to see other parties trying to catch up with us on climate, but none of them are doing enough on ecological collapse. This has to change, and only Greens will lead the way.
