Build a Budget

A detailed budget proposal that documents every expected cost associated with a proposal is a critical piece of your application. A budget that lacks sufficient detail can hurt your organization?s chances of being awarded funding.

When applying for funding, most solicitations require a Budget Detail Form as part of the application in the Justice Grants System (JustGrants). This form covers all potential costs associated with an award, including personnel, travel, equipment and supplies, and more.
