Autism Speaks is pleased to announce the Potomac 5k will be held in person on Sunday, July 4th at the Potomac Library in Potomac, Maryland.

We're excited to come together with the autism community and we need volunteers to help us ensure the success of this event. The Potomac 5K wouldn't be possible without the dedication and support of our volunteers. We are so grateful for their time and talent that helps us reduce costs and dedicate more funds to our mission.

We're recruiting volunteers to assist with set-up and/or break-down, greet participants and cheer on our runners along the route. Friends, families and groups are all welcome. Student Service Learning (SSL) hours are available.

Race Day Details and Schedule:

• Monday, July 4, 2022
• Potomac Library, 10101 Glenolden Drive, Potomac, Md
• 6 a.m. – Volunteers arrive
• 6:30 a.m. – Packet pickup
• 8 a.m. – Race starts

Race Day Volunteer Opportunities:

• T-shirt distribution
• Route Marshalls
• Water station
• Start Line/Finish Line
• Set-up/break-down
