The June 28 Republican primary election in Illinois’s 15th congressional district was supposed to be a cakewalk for establishment liberal incumbent Rodney Davis (R-IL). He’s the kind of Republican Washington loves: a big-spending, anti-gun corporate lapdog.

But Mary Miller (R-IL), who was redistricted into this race against Davis, is the exact opposite. She is a proven, principled, conservative fighter. She has taken on the establishments of both parties and has the battle scars to prove it.

Mary Miller is one of us; Rodney Davis is one of them.

And Illinois conservatives know it. That’s why this race has closed to a dead heat with the primary fast approaching. The GOP establishment is in panic and is pouring millions of corporate dollars to save Davis’s floundering campaign.

Rodney Davis may be a nice guy, but he’s a lousy congressman – a follower and a flip-flopper who never stands on principle because he doesn’t have any. Davis’s record speaks for itself:
